Dalton Cleveland is a right handed pitcher at Limestone University, located in Gaffney, South Carolina. He is originally from Naples, Florida where his aspirations to be a baseball player began at the age of 3. Dalton attended perfect game in 2015 and 2020 with an increase of +21 mph on his fastball. This increase in velocity assisted him in pitching a no-hitter for his club team.
Q: What brings you to the CLPB League and what do you plan to accomplish this season?
A: I wanted to join a very competitive league in Florida and plan on obtaining as much pitching knowledge as possible to make me a better athlete.
Q: How do you plan on capitalizing on your goals this summer?
A: I really want to increase my velocity this summer and completing it with the best mechanics. I feel I can achieve this by talking with pitching coaches and learning from teammates.
Q: What advice do you have to share with other baseball athletes?
A: My advice is to just really focus on your own weaknesses in order to become better.
Q: What is your favorite baseball team?
A: My favorite baseball team is the Atlanta Braves.
Q: If you were to meet a MLB player who would it be and why?
A: Luis Castillo, he is my favorite pitcher and I would love to learn that changeup of his!
Q: What MLB stadium are you most interested to visit?
A: The Colorado Rockies, it just looks like a really fun atmosphere there!
Q: What do you enjoy doing outside of baseball?
A: I am a big bowling guy.

A: Lou Brock (LF), Mike Trout (CF), Larry Walker (RF), Harmon Killebrew (3B), Ozzie Smith (SS), Joe Morgan (2B), David Ortiz (1B), Joe Mauer (C), and Jacob deGrom (P).

A: Before games, I need to throw a 7 oz. baseball.
