Conor Miller joins the Jupiter Wave after four seasons at Division 3 York College of Pennsylvania, playing for Mike Scappa and one year at Nova Southeastern University, playing for the Sharks under Laz Gutierrez.
At York, Miller was a mainstay in the Spartan bullpen, enjoying 2 years as the Spartan’s Closer. His senior year, he led the Spartans to their first Conference Title since 1999. Miller was named to NCAA D3 Mid-Atlantic All-Region Second Team and was selected as an All-Mac Commonwealth Pitcher after his senior season. He also won the MAC Commonwealth Tournament MVP after recording a win and a save in the two clinching games to win the title. In his senior campaign, he threw 27.2 innings with a 1.95ERA accompanied by 9 Saves, good for second all time in a single season in York College history and second in all of Division 3 Baseball. In his Spartan career, Miller made 45 appearances, throwing 81.1 innings, with a 5-4 record, 13 saves and 69 career strikeouts. His 13 saves are good for second all time in a career at York College. He also completed his undergrad degree in Criminal Justice.
Miller spent 2 years in the Valley Baseball League for the Woodstock River Bandits under the helm of Valley League Hall of Famer, Mike Bocock. He was selected as the Reliever of the Year in 2019 and was ranked the #8 Reliever in 2021.
In 2020, Miller spent his summer ball season in Rock Hill, SC playing for the Piedmont Pride for Joe Hudak. He led the Southern Collegiate Baseball League in innings pitched, tied for the league lead in wins with 6, and second in the league in strikeouts. Conor and the Pride went on to win the 2020 SCBL Championship.
Conor is completing his graduate degree in Criminal Justice at Nova Southeastern and is excited to join Ruben Someillan on the coaching staff of the Jupiter Wave as Pitching Coach.
