The CLPB 2022 North Division All-Stars have been announced. Players from the North Palm Beach Flamingos, Jupiter Wave, Wellington Colts, Juno Beach Loggerheads and Vipers Baseball Club will play together this Friday at the Ballpark of the Palm Beaches Stadium.
The North Palm Beach Flamingos will feature three players in the all-star game. Catcher Matthew Strand (Samford University) made the team and earned a starting position with a .310 batting average, nine hits, seven runs scored, nine RBIs and eight walks through 14 games this summer. Pitcher/infielder Cole Fryman (Samford University) will be the starting second baseman for the North all-stars, and has a .278 batting average and nine RBIs through 13 games this summer. Fryman has six appearances at pitcher this summer with a 0.00 ERA in13 innings pitched, zero earned runs, 19 strikeouts and six walks allowed. Pitcher Cam Clines (Georgia Tech) will be the third Flamingos player in the all-star game. Clines has six appearances at pitcher this summer with two starts, a 4.67 ERA, nine earned runs, 14 walks and 22 strikeouts through 17.1 innings pitched.
The Jupiter Wave will have four players represented in the all-star game. Infielder Andrew Branson (Pittsburg State University) will start in the all-star game after having a .324 batting average, six runs scored, four RBIs, five walks and five stolen bases through 13 games this summer. Catcher Peter Avino (Lynn University) will represent the Wave in the all-star game who has a .308 batting average, one home run, six RBIs and 13 walks through 18 games this summer. Outfielder Carter Brady (USC-Upstate) will be a part of the all-star game with a .200 batting average, 3 RBIs, 10 walks and two stolen bases in 14 games this summer. Brandon LaMazza (Southern Connecticut State University) will be the lone pitcher from the Wave in the all-star game who has a 3.32 ERA with eight earned runs, 14 walks, 18 strikeouts and an 0-1 record with 21.2 innings pitched in five appearances this summer.
The Wellington Colts will have five players participating in the all-star game. Pitcher/first baseman Max Martzolf (Florida Atlantic University) will be the starting DH for the North all-stars, and has a .382 batting average, 10 RBIs and 12 walks through 18 games this summer. Martzolf has a 0.00 ERA with 23 strikeouts, six walks and a 1-0 record in five appearances through 14 innings this summer. Catcher Gavin Bogdanchik (Palm Beach State College) will play in the all-star game and has a .271 batting average, one home run, 9 RBIs and six walks through 18 games this summer. Outfielder Jack Savery (Uncommitted) made the all-star team with a .340 batting average, nine RBIs and six walks through 15 games this summer. Pitcher Alex Walsh (University of Miami) will make an appearance in this year’s all-star game with a 0.54 ERA, one earned run, 27 strikeouts, five walks and a 1-0 record in four appearances through 16.2 innings pitched. Pitcher Dawson Ball is the third Colts pitcher to make the all-star game with a 2.95 ERA, seven earned runs, 27 strikeouts and 18 walks in 7 appearances through 21.1 innings this summer.
The Juno Beach Loggerheads will have six players be a part of the all-star game. Patrick Ward (Florida Atlantic University) will be the starting shortstop for the North all-star team who leads his team with a .340 batting average, nine RBIs, 14 walks and three stolen bases in 22 games this summer. Outfielder Beau Gardner (Florence Darlington Tech) will be a starting outfielder in the all-star game with a .326 batting average, 12 RBIs, 19 walks and 2 stolen bases in 20 games this summer. Chase Senecal (Vernon College) will be the starting pitcher for the North with a 2.17 ERA, 10 earned runs, 27 strikeouts, nine walks and a 3-1 record in 7 appearances through 41.1 innings this summer. Jared Terefenko (Brookdale Community College) will be pitching in the all-star game, and has a 1.12 ERA, three earned runs, 25 strikeouts, 11 walks and a 1-0 record in five appearances through 24 innings this summer. Alex Christmas (Montreat College) is the third Loggerheads pitcher to make the all-star game who has a 4.50 ERA, seven earned runs, 15 strikeouts and six walks in four appearances through 14 innings this summer. Infielder Caleb Adams (Undecided) made the all-star team with a .275 batting average, one home run, 10 RBIs, 12 walks and two stolen bases through 19 games this summer.
The Vipers Baseball Club will have four players featured in the all-star game. Dale Francis (Alabama State University) will get the start at first baseman for the second straight summer. Francis has a .422 batting average with one home run, 19 RBIs, 12 walks and one stolen base in 21 games this summer. Will Owens will start in the outfield for the second straight summer with a .317 batting average, 13 RBIs, 15 walks and 16 stolen bases in 22 games this summer. Tariq Bacon will also start in the outfield for the all-star game and has a .322 batting average, one home run, 15 RBIs, seven walks and 13 stolen bases in 19 games this summer. Pitcher Tibur Rivero (Florida Atlantic University) will represent the Vipers in the bullpen with a 2.70 ERA, three earned runs, 20 strikeouts and nine walks in five appearances through 10 innings this summer.
The North division all-stars will be coached by Wellington Colts head coach Chad Mills.
