The North Palm Beach Flamingos defeated The Scoutz Pirates 9-3 on Wednesday thanks to six runs in the fourth inning. The rally was led by singles by Jared Whittle and Jeremy Wagner, a fielder’s choice by Drew Cavanaugh, an error on a ball put in play by Jorge Braceras, and a double by Pedro Figueroa.
The North Palm Beach Flamingos notched six runs in the fourth inning. Braceras, Whittle, Cavanaugh, Figueroa, and Wagner all drove in runs in the frame.
Pete Komaroski got the win for the Flamingos. The pitcher allowed two hits and zero runs over six innings, striking out seven. Kyler Clarke and Jordan Peyton entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.
Jace took the loss for the Scoutz Pirates. The hurler surrendered six runs on four hits over three innings, striking out four.
Ford Townsend started the game for the Scoutz Pirates. The bulldog went three innings, allowing three runs on four hits and striking out two.
The North Palm Beach Flamingos tallied nine hits in the game. Whittle and Wagner all managed multiple hits for their team. Whittle went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead the North Palm Beach Flamingos in hits.
