This summer he will be playing for the Jupiter Wave at the CLPB.
Q: How do you feel about being able to play with one of your teammates this summer in the CLPB?
A: It feels great knowing I can move across the country for the summer and get to do it with my teammate.
Q: What made you decide to go to University of Mount Union?
A: I heard about the university because of their football program, I came to play football first but then decided I wanted to play baseball. And I do not regret a thing.
Q: You have been seeing the ball great this season at Mount Union with a .395 BA. What do you attribute that success to?
A: My teammates that I see in practice every day are great pitchers and that just prepares me to play in the games with high confidence.
Q: What would you say is your greatest baseball achievement at any level?
A: Being an All-State player my senior year in high school was probably the best achievement I have had in my baseball career thus far.
Q: If you were not in school for baseball, what would you be doing? Why?
A: I would probably just be working more and learning more about real estate. I plan on being a business owner when I am older.
Q: What are your expectations for the upcoming CLPB season?
A: My expectations this summer are to play against kids that are really good baseball players, and I am also just excited to meet kids from around the country.
Q: When it comes to baseball, who is your role model? Why?
A: In baseball I have a couple role models, Mike Trout and Mookie Betts. I model them because I am an outfielder and just the way they play the game. Mike Trout plays the game the way it is supposed to be played, and Mookie Betts is not the biggest guy on the field but can hit with a lot of power.
Q: If you had to pick one MLB team you wanted to be drafted to, where would it be? Why?
A: If I could be drafted by one team, I would want to be drafted by the Detroit Tigers, I would love to play for them because that is my home state team. I am from Michigan and I would love to be the kid that came from Michigan and play for the Tigers.
