North Palm Beach Flamingos right-hander flaming hot in first two starts.
West Palm Beach, FL. — North Palm Beach Flamingos’ Peter Komaroski has been named CLPB’s Week 2 Pitcher of the Week, announced Friday by the league office.
Komaroski, a junior from Jacksonville Beach, Florida, was outstanding in his first two starts for the Flamingos, leading his team to wins in both outings!
Pete recorded a league-leading 10 innings pitched, 4 hits, 10 strikeouts, only 2 walks, and a 0.00 ERA!
The Flamingos go-to-guy does more than just pitch for his team. Head Coach Nick White weighed in on Komaroski’s love for the game.
“He’s eager to learn and a constant competitor… the first guy at the ballpark every single game. Pete is so dominant because he is competing every single pitch, on and off the field. “
The dominant pitching star just finished his collegiate career at City College of New York this past spring. Pete aims to walk-on at Florida Atlantic University (D-I) where he will also be achieving his masters!
Averaging 1.0 strikeouts per inning, Komaroski is going to give this team everything he’s got.
The North Palm Beach Flamingos possess a 5-3 record coming into the third week of the season. Peter Komaroski & his team are guaranteed to make much more noise this summer competing atop the North division.
