Effective September 1st, 2022 ProspectSelect Baseball INC will be transferring ownership of the Collegiate League of the Palm Beaches (CLPB) to Chad Mills of Stars & Stripes Baseball LLC.

Founded in 2017 the CLPB, a summer wood-bat collegiate league, has operated as a division of ProspectSelect Baseball. Started as an alternative to the traditional summer collegiate model, focusing more on player development, the CLPB has grown from just four teams in its inaugural season to ten teams this past season in 2022. The league annually attracts players from some of the top collegiate baseball programs across the country, coming to Palm Beach County to train, play and live for the summer. ProspectSelect President Jeremy Plexico on the sale of the league “We are extremely happy with the growth and success of the CLPB over the last six seasons. We appreciate all of the coaches, families, players, staff, and partners who have helped us get to this point. Ultimately, we hope that we have helped a lot of student-athletes go back to their schools as better players and help their programs win. We know that the league will be in great hands moving forward under the leadership of Chad Mills and his team”

Chad has been very active in the south Florida baseball community for many years as well as the CLPB, serving as Owner and General Manager of the Wellington Colts for the past 3 seasons. Here are Chad’s thoughts on his new role “I’m extremely excited to be taking over the Collegiate League of the Palm Beaches. I look forward to continuing to improve and grow the league as ProspectSelect has over the last 6 years.” Beginning immediately, Chad will assume all day-to-day responsibilities pertaining to the CLPB. For any inquiries on the CLPB please contact Chad Mills at clpalmbeaches@gmail.com or (561) 704-0323.
